It's gonna be funny when all the Sony fanboys start yelling from the rooftops about how amazing all these games are with motion control. The same fanboys that derided the Wii for it's controls, calling them gimmicky and a fad. Any pointing type title (RTS, and of course shooters) are worlds ahead of dual analog sticks. It's just a fact of the universe. Just like mouse/keyboard re the ultimate devices for these games. Arguing dual analog is better just makes people look stupid.

Roll on pointer control in all the consoles!
I say that about almost every FPS, they're generic beyond generic. Serious Sam though had something a little different, and that was the pant-shitting factor.
Wow, and 3 of those are for a single platform only. The other 2 were on 2 platforms and eventually 3 platforms.
Just shows how naive this guy is with regard to the industry. Also shows how little staying power he has when it comes to the business side of things.

Keep at it, look for other publishers, Nintendo aren't the b-all and end-all.
Who cares, Home has to be the most inane, boring waste of hard drive space to ever grace the PS3.
At the start of a long journey? It's taken years to get to this stage. We'll be in the next generation before home becomes something worth using.

Unfortunately if they can nail the social aspect (Hard when console owners don't have keyboards for the most part) then I can see people getting into this. For core gamers I really can't see much happening unless they go the whole hog and effectively replace the PSN with Home. Give me downloadable content, demos of games, small 2d versions to play (Like Mirror's Edge).

I'd love to go to a special, huge area that contained everything relating to a game with decked out statues and things but it has to them have content for me to get. That's the clincher. Without game content and the ability to do things relating to that game it's worthless.
Well graphics look good, action looks good. Now all we need to know is...is the game any good.

More often than not we'll suffer months of uber-hype around a gimmick (Gore in this case) only to find the game itself is rather weak.

The homebrew channel takes 10 minutes to get running and is completely safe, unless you don't read instructions. If the choice is between not playing a game you want to play, and taking 10 minutes to install a channel to your Wii, it seems pretty straight forward to me.
Jeesus, why do people moan about this. Mod your wii, or install the Homebrew channel and import the fucking game.

Nope, not American. Where I come from I own what I buy. I can rip it to whatever device I want, give it away, resell it, or loan it as I see fit.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
