I don't know that I love it, exactly, but it's creatively brilliant and I can understand how it won this award.

The song could be something of an anthem; "Hate something/Change something" could be the slogan for the entire green movement. It's an audacious, provocative idea, and actually a fairly risky one to use in a TV ad spot. It depends on an intelligent audience.
I call BS. Almost all television remotes are IR (in other words, line-of-sight, PERIOD).

It IS funny, tho...
Ford is well aware of Korea. The Festiva was produced by Kia.

Ford is also doing considerably better internationally than GM, so I'm pretty sure they "get it" on some level.

About the only positive that GM has internationally right now is that the Chinese love Buicks for some odd reason. I like them, too, but I wouldn't bet the future of the company on it.
I've seen some breathtakingly-bad customs on AB, but this one actually induced a sharp, searing pain behind my eyeballs.

The A5 is arguably the most elegant, tasteful design in production right now, the automotive equivalent of a Saville Row suit. This is kinda like trying to put Amy Winehouse's tattoo'd arms on the Venus di Milo...
@Boyo

Freakin GENIUS, dude!
I agree, sustainability and profitability do not have to be mutually exclusive, and this project is a great example.

Wind and solar are particularly well-suited to rural projects, because in many cases the numbers become more attractive. When an electric utility runs up to your property line, it becomes harder to rationalize the cost of an alternative plant.

My other favorite initiative is to use manure for biomass fuel.
Thanks for expanding your contests to include Canada. That's VERY cool!
Count me in! My original Nyko charge station is a serious PITA to use with the Motion Plus.

And thank you, Engadget, for expanding eligibility to Canada (Yaaay!!)
Speaking of Vegas...

This electric Roller gives the high-roller palaces a "green" opportunity. For instance, the Villas at the Wynn could adopt these for their limo fleet. I can see the press release now...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
