Well it came in! Wow. No fixed or dead pixels at all. It's a beauty. Now I'll need to get a replacement VESA stand to hook it on the wall and free-up the desk.
I went with neither. Got me a CRT HDTV - heck it does 1080i. It has none of the disadvantages of LCD or Plasma ;-) and I'm not planning to compete with my local movie theater or help fund my banker's 72" DLP.
I ordered one as well... tracking said to be delivered on jan 7. Now to take advantage of this monitor, I'll have to get a new card with DVI output. Next pay check.

Too bad it doesn't pivot but 5ms is awesome for that price. Hope there's not any "fixed" pixels.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
