soo by that reasoning when grand turismo goes online they should drop support for steering wheels because they are like 'cheating' due to their higher accuracy?

if you're that into it, buy a wireless kb&m or a high end pc.
i used to boast that psn was more about original games that took advantage of the ps3 (like flow and blast factor. tekken dark ressurection is still some of the best $20 in gaming ive ever spent in my entire life.) but with all these midway arcade games clogging up the updates (esp at $5, joust should be 2 or 3 at most) i'm starting to shut my mouth.

ps1 games are many in number and can fill in a great nice untill more original games come out. the engine is already in place, it shouldn't take all that much to convert over or even possibly improve on(Philiosima, and intelligent qube come to mind.) just browse ebay for the ps1 games with the highest prices to get your inspiration. but the real power should come from more original games. the 360 will always be held back in this by the inconsistancy of the hard drive presence, while viturial console will always be stuck with old nes/snes and rare n64 ports and questionable SD storage space. kick them in the ju-ju-bees with more content that can't be matched.
you would think that right? but i know people who deny the ratchet and clank series or the wii because it looks too kiddy to them.

that said there's nothing wrong to catering to undertapped and underserved genres. i doubt i'll ever play this game just as much as i doubt i'll ever play viva pinata but i think personnaly it shows maturity in the industry as it reaches out for even more broader aduences.

a game like this, full fledged with more meat than a casual game, may open more women to other gaming experances and pour over better storylines and interpersonal interactivity into other games.

just as long as i don't have to run a dating minigame in the next need for speed.
it's funny how people are arguing pad vs kb&m when this game gives you a choice.

somehow i feel the whole cramming a sixaxis into a 360 pad also has something to do with the highly probable fact that the componants might be a bit smaller and less complex without rumble and thus easier to put into the more sizable 360 controller.

but hey if it's that important to you then i'm sure you've already made your console decision right?
yay!
time to play more lego star wars.
1. do my old game saves from the ps2 versions work on unlocking progress on the ps3 version?

2. will this come out in 1080p

3. if i may make a suggestion. both versions had camera issues. can remoteplay be used in the ps3 version in conjuntion with the psp to have two screens with cameras that won't interfear with both players controls. i love 2 player but man i hate chain death due to camera isues.

yes, that would be awesome.

hate to say it, but i would "consider" buying a wii for this game. i enjoyed the first one on ps2 and as i'm sure it didn't take all that much effort to make i'm a bit supprised it's not comming to 360, ps3, and p2 as i'm sure it helped to racke in a bit more cash. maybe it just wasn't enough overall as the other consoles had better games to be buying and better catering to the demographic last time.

yeah, and there's no way i'm going to chip the crust and dust off my wifes unloved DS to play this either. (we both prefer psp)
and has anyone put forth the thought that if it wern't for the fact the 360 only has dvd that more multiplatform games made for ps3 would use more space for game content on blu-ray? GTA4 confirmed this.

i don't blame multiplatform devs for working lowest common denominator of preformance between the two consoles. maybe being mad at sony isn't the problem, maybe being mad at M$ for not including HDDVD (or hard drive) standard is.
i bought my ps3 in january cuz i knew i only had a limited amout of time to get one with the emotion engine in it for maximum BC.

a lot of these posts are WAY off topic.
even if a game is 11gb you've made a game bigger than one dvd9 and you didn't have to spend tons of time compressing data or cutting content to make it fit. imagine how bad ass gears would have been with the space to make the game longer than a short summer action movie.

with a 50gb BD you can hold up to 9 hours of high def content @1080p. with that much space you can make a game at 21 gb that would require 3 dvd's and still have space for a 2-3 hour movie on it.

something that even a 30GB HDDVD would struggle to match (had the 360 made the drive standard) given the challange.

it dosent take much to take advantage of BD over dvd and it seems the skys the limit to those who chose to use it fully.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
