I could put this to good use. Thanks.
I could put this to use.
Check out the poor fitment of the rear bumper cover as it meets the rear 3/4 body panel. Last picture. No thanks 9ff.
Maybe with the super-high ISO, Engadget can use a better f-stop so the pictures will be in focus.

Looking forward to usable gadget pictures!
@(Unverified) Actually. They crash tested it on the show. It passed all tests and is roadworthy.
@crappish

Yea. No kidding. How can Engadget do a blog post on a show that they haven't seen? I don't think they mentioned the Volt at any time during the show.
There's a lot of passion on this thread. Lots of disdain for Thinkpads. I don't understand why; I've been really enjoying my T400. I love the keyboard. I love the understated, all-business look. I love that I can ditch the disc drive, and put in a 2nd, 500GB hard drive for storage and backups. I can throw it in my briefcase everyday to bring to the clinic without the worry that I'll break something. It's great!
Motorsports? LOL. Only if you call letting your Z8 sit-in-your-driveway-for-your-neighbors-to-admire a motorsport.

I do agree with you, though. Man, that car was stunning. They should have kept it going, evolving like the Z3 did, or evolving like the Porsche 911 did.
Why roll up windows. Are you guys crazy? The only car that shouldn't have electric windows is a Jeep Wrangler soft top. Even then, that's a stretch. Any car bigger than a go-Kart needs to have electric windows. It's worth the 1.5 grams of extra weight and wiring. Nobody is going to have an Audi wagon with the inconvenience of having to get out, walk to the other side of the car to the rear passenger door to wind it up or down. If you have to do that, then there's no point in having windows that can roll at all.

Really? Roll up windows? I'd like to see you put your money where your mouth is and buy any car with roll up windows, if you can find one. Try, just try to option it without putting down the extra $500 for the electric package.

I'm a hands-on kind of guy. Give me manual seats; who cares, nobody is usually driving the car but me. Give me some real dials and switches to control the air conditioning. Or don't. It doesn't matter either way; I can either adjust it as I go or set it and forget it. Let me change my own gears. I like being in control of my transmission. But, do you know what's not in control? If you have to wind your own windows, nobody is in control.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
