Apple hasn't been sued over iTV because that isn't the final name of the product yet. Jobs even said that when it was introduced.

And no way is that the iTV remote. For starters, it's black, and the iTV is white. You know Apple and colors. Plus, as others have stated, the remote will be the same as the existing Apple Remote.
One thing to consider is that EVERYONE buying the HD-DVD add-on is buying it to watch HD-DVD movies. It's impossible to tell how many PS3 owners actually are purchsing Blu-Ray DVD's as well.
Wow! I love Gadling, and link to it regularly in my blog, but you guys have been scraping up some old stories as of late. I think this one is a year and a half old, and the one on the outdoor colleges from Outside Magazine is like three years old.
I don't really have a problem with this. There are probably more people then ever riding the Pirates of the Caribbean ride thanks to the movie, and putting in Jack Sparrow will make the ride more accessible for the younger crowd. I love PotC (the ride, not the movie, which is fun, but not great), so as long as they don't go overboard with it, I think it's cool.

But yea, don't jerk with the song! :)
Um...I'm not much of a celeb chaser, but even I know that Chesney and Renee Zellweger aren't together any more. I think it lasted like six months or something. Anyway, he's not her husband any longer.
Yeah, I ran into some "Ugly Europeans" while in the Middle East. The French were the worst. You're probably right about all nations having some of those types of tourists these days.

Oh! And Ethiopia does look like an amazing place. I'd love to visit it someday.
It's good to see more American's traveling abroad, and into less touristy areas. I just hope they aren't bringing the whole "Ugly American" stereotype with them, and are learning to open up to the new cultures they are discovering. I was in Egypt a few years back and it was an incredible experience.
I've read this book, and it's a good read for anyone interested in a modern adventure story. It's a nice mix of adventure/exploration, history, and Buddhism. I enjoyed it, and would recommend it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
