@JeremyBenthem I think that the whole point is that he doesn't want an atom processor.
As for suggestions, be sure to check out the coupon/deal sites like Techbargin or Fatwallet. There are a couple of good machines on there that hit close to $400 after the instant rebates and %off coupons.
I just want there to be the option of throwing bad guys off the top of the Burj Dubai.
Why do they need a publisher for a digitally distributed game? I would have imagined that it would be as simple as sending a copy of the game to MS to run validation on the code to ensure that it is safe, then it gets posted onto the marketplace.
I want an ION eeEboard with one of these things.
(I could deal with needing a power cord, installed a powerstrip into my table for my harmony and charging game controllers)
"The field is much smaller and players will have to get touchdowns within four tries (no way to get a first down). "

Isn't that the whole point of Arena Football???
There's probably close to that much weight in paint on the skin of the plane!
For as much as this costs, I'd expect it to be able to do more than just unlock the car or do a remote start. Unless you can use it to turn your lights on/off, set the A/C or heater/defrost, I'd rather stick with the $5 fob on my keychain.
Ever since the Tesla started shipping, this car has become a "me-too".
If they don't want to be laughed at for trying to sell a small 2 seat sporty electric, they had better design their own chassis. That Dodge Demon concept from a few years ago would be a MUCH better design.
When will they let someone that actually went to design school do one?

If they're going to try to make it smaller than a paperback, why do they insist on wasting 1/4 of the front facia with ugly buttons and such? I'm surprised that I haven't seen one designed with the the buttons on the edge of the device (like the volume buttons on a cellphone)
Ion and 1080p on the Wireless HD and I'd buy one today.

Does it support 1080p on the hdmi output atleast? Whats the max length you can run an hdmi cable w/o needing to get into repeaters and such??
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
