Dear Engadget:

Who cares about blu-ray?

Sony money has almost totally ran dry, so you can stop shilling now.
Still in "Early Adopter" phase after three years...Hah!

I guess any excuse to justify pathetic blu-ray sales.

Hail the king of the blu-ray shills, Engadget! I guess Sony hasn't totally run out of viral money yet.
Netflix doesn't want to invest any more money than they have to in blu-ray discs.

After CES 2009 it will be a whole new ballgame.
Interesting that it reads HD DVD but doesn't have an HD DVD logo on it. How many other blu-ray drives do that?

Also interesting is that this is a Panasonic drive. So Panny is making HD DVD dives now?
Hope they come out with a model with a DVD burner and a hard drive.

They can keep the P.O.S. blu-ray player.
HHAAAHHHAAA!!!

Engadget can't stand it! HHAAHAHAHAHA!!!

It will be only when Sony incorporates SRT into their TVs and DVD players that Engadget will pull a 180 and say that Sony's version is fantastic, while all others suck.
heh heh. Sony shills and fanboys attempting to squash the truth about blu-ray failure.

How much is Sony paying you to write this tripe?
Right. We get it already.

Upscaling in HDTVs upsets you if it's toshiba doing it.

Upscaling HDTVs by Sony are awesome..

Upscaling in DVD players upsets you if it's toshiba doing it.

Upscaling DVD players by Sony are fantastic.

What a viral joke this site is.
Has Sony bought Engadget? I've never seen such moronic reporting from viral mouthpieces of Sony as I have from Endgadget. How much are they paying you to spew this garbage!

You do know that these are HD Download players, do you not?

And speak for yourself!
Just because Sony told you to tell us that upscaling SD sucks does not make it true. I've got hundreds of DVDs that will benefit!
These are Warner Home Video Titles.

Circuit City is not lowering the prices, Warner is.

No doubt with money from Sony in exchange for going blu-ray exclusive.

So Sony is bankrolling this move, not Circuit City.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
