That's the best-looking Lexus ever, by a thousand miles.
Wasn't there some sort of controversy over the naming of the Apple TV? Wasn't it originally the iTV when first introduced? No big deal, huh.
One of the features I miss most from years of using Nokia phones was timed profiles. If you didn't want to be disturbed at night, you could set the phone to the silent profile, and tell it to expire at 7am, for example. I have to wonder if Nokia holds a patent for this feature, because I don't think I've ever seen it on another phone.

Apple should really make it possible to change or turn off the incoming e-mail tone altogether, while still vibrating for incoming e-mail, and allowing the phone to ring audibly for phone calls.
Having some login issues here. I'm signed in with classic Engadget and Engadget Mobile, but I can't seem to log into Engadget HD no matter what I try. I'm assuming this is one of the issues you guys are working on.
Too bad Google Earth doesn't yet have access to the compass on the 3GS. That would be neat.
I don't understand why both Apple and AT&T wouldn't want to make the iPhone available to as many retailers as possible. The more that are sold, the more it benefits them both.
Are they still building Macs in Fremont?
I'd use the tripod to experiment with low-light photography.
The crummy VZW UI won't be a problem for me much longer, since I'm getting an iPhone next week. Living in D.C. and being a Nationals fan should leave me well prepared for tolerating the crap AT&T network, though.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
