I've had one of these in a more generic chinese casing for about 6 months. You can get them for $10 on eBay. Same 4 blue LEDs, but in a different place. Works great.
It'd be horrific over 3g anyway. Wifi is fine.
well , the servers got overloaded with people hitting them for info today, so guess what? I think AOL probably wants them doing stories about macworld. duh.
heh, Ryan forgot that it had bluetooth and no-one uses mic-in ports nowadays!
yeah. like anyone who does any real work on computers will get one of these. Did you read the rest of the comments? It's NOT a workhorse. It's for updating facebook & buying from ebay from a leather sofa.
why do you people never realise the 17.5% VAT that is included in the UK sales price, and that the sales tax is not included in the US price?
.mac is totally borked for me. I vote for the datacentre mains cable thing.
Gotta love the Costco in the UK too...we still have a 3 year return to base, refund warranty on TVs etc..last year I got a full refund on a 2yr 11month-old projector! Costco rules the worlds.
#33, I mean when you buy your iPhone2 next year. No reason for them to stop you using it instead of your old iPhone. The hardware isn't subsidised, but Apple get a kickback from o2, hence the locking.

Visual voicemail won't work on other o2 contracts, you'll need a special iPhone SIM to have the proper access to the network to download the files.

The French unlocked iPhone won't be a universal open iPhone...it'll only work with French iTunes accounts etc.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
