I've been hoping that Apple would take the MacBook glass trackpads and put it in a standalone device like this for desktops. There may be specific needs that require a mouse still, but I think the multitouch trackpad will replace the mouse for general consumer use sooner than later.
I could care less about MMS, who in their right mind shares photos that way anymore? I can upload video to YouTube and post my photos to 80 million different social network sites, why pay for that shit?
To the contrary of this article, a MS exec Shane Kim stated yesterday that this technology was developed in-house and was in progress for "a long time" before 3DV was purchased.

My guess would be that MS bought 3DV to avoid patent litigation and smooth the road for future adoption of pieces of their technologies.
Yeah, this is the third game in a brilliant series of seemingly unrelated worlds and stories from Funito Ueda. His first two games, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, are two of the most beautiful games created for the PS2, and their approach to elegantly simple game design and subtle but powerful storytelling is without peer.
This footage is actually all brand new. The cinematography is the same but all of the environments, character models and effects are re-done from the ground up. Compare both, you'll be shocked at how janky the guardian and the environments looked in the old "Trico" trailer compared to the new trailer shown today.
A) Have you ever tried rolling joints or cigarettes in your lap on a piece of cardboard or magazine? It sucks. OP has a good point actually, they should market it as such.

B) You don't see too many pillows with hard tops, I don't get why Murph's gotta make this sound like a stupid idea. I'm sure Belkin's making a nice 50%+ margin on this, but hey, welcome to America.
Whatever-system whatever-game-this-is is for, I wouldn't mind seeing Kojima's take on a Devil May Cry/Bayonetta-esque action game with Raiden leading the way. If Kojima can bring a leaner story with the same amazing cinematography, yeah. Tits.
I assume Disney did a bunch of market research, but it seems like they kind of missed the point. Civilians don't dislike the black bars because they're not decorative, they dislike the black bars because they are too retarded to appreciate the importance of maintaining the original aspect ratio and want the video to fill up the whole screen even if it means destroying the creators original vision. I have some asshole friends that actually prefer watching the pan-and-scan version of movies on their standard def TVs instead of watching the widescreen version with bars on the top and bottom. Stupid. Anyhow, these graphics on the Disney films probably aren't going to fix the most common problem people have with the extra space. Not that it needs to be fixed, I don't understand how having that loud static border is better than a nice benign black area.
"You play as a character who, unlike a Cingular salesperson, can manipulate time -- travel through it, use it to make folks age to death ... y'know, the usual."

So, it's a Sprint sales person?
These guys don't know what they are talking about. High-definition video discs will only have 73.6% of the market in 2017. I mean, 73.8%? Are these guys fucking retarded??
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
