Why is that the Republican seem to have monopoly on being the part of idiots and angry white old men? They are balming Obama for all the ills in the country because they feel that 8 months is enough time to clean up the trash Bush left behind. Then they turn around and say that he has not been in office long enough to earn the Nobel Prize. Which one is it, morons? It took Bush 8 years to create the mountain of trash in the economy and two wars and some stupid idiots feel 8 months is enough time to turn things completely around. Even corporations don't get turned around that quick let alone an econony as huge as ours. I hope people don't have that kind of short memory that they want to put the Republicans in there again. If McCain had won the presidency and the Republican had the majority, we would have in bread lines and very deep depression. I hope everybody remembers this. Mr Obama is not looking for only quick fixes, he's also looking for long term viability and stability of this mighty nation.
The only reason I want Reid to lose is because that's the only way he is going to step down as the senate majority leader. The Democratic Party should not discourage any democrats that want to run against Reid. He is Obama's worst nightmare. He is so weak that he dosen't even know how to exercise his majority in the Senate. As much as Nancy Pelosi is criticized, she is 1000% stronger than Reid and she doesn't take nonsense from the Republicans.
John McCain is an old firth that will continue his tricky way until he leaves politics if he ever leaves government payroll. If he is sincere, he should be giving his advice to President Obama in private and not in the media. The media should stop focusing on John McCain because he's nothing but below average critical thinker.
How does the Republican find these idiots. It looks like they're always saying and doing stupid things. You have the guy in Montana apologising, the Rep from Minnesota, Mike Huckubee, Newt Gingrich called Sotomayor a racist and apologised, and the list goes on. Why does the Republicans have monopoly on these stupid idiots they keep electing. Even the crowds they draw are just as racist and mentally deranged. It's time for a new two-part system (Democratic and Independent parties)
Melinda- I was following your logic until you interjected the word "liberals" and that immediately erased all your credibility. Dave Letterman is a great late night comedian and he doesn't have any problem getting large viewing audience. What's the difference between Palin's family and any other dysfunction inner-city family. The soceity puts down the inner-city unwed teens and you want us to glorify it just for the Palin's. You must be a stupid, ignorant idiot.
This is why this country is lagging behind a lot of other countries. The topic here is the controversy at ASU and some of you idiots turned it into Obama bashing. Instead of giving Obama credit for turning a stupid controversy into something positive for the young graduates, you ignorant morons turned the discusion into something stupid as usual. With people like you idiots, America has a long way to go.
They should amend the current bankruptcy laws to what it was before the change in 2005. That's one way to get around what this stupid congress and Ben Bernecke are incapble of doing- - enact rules and laws that take effect immediately. What a stupid bunch!!!
THANKS TO JOE BIDEN FOR PUTTING US IN THIS PREDICAMENT. WHILE IN THE SENATE HE WAS FOR CREDIT CARD COMPANIES BECUASE THEY HAD OFFICES IN HIS HOME STATE.
This goes to show how stupid Ben Bernecki and congress are. Only a fool would think that you can enact a law that doesn't take effect until a year from now, and not expect the credit card companies to get all they can before the law takes effect. For the law to be effective it should be retroactive either to either January 1, 2009 or the date the law was proposed. What a stupid bunch of yahoos in congress. Ben Bernecke has always come across as inept.
Just like we had Reagan democrats, now we have Obama republicans and independents. With another Obama 50-state strategy in 2012, only 10% of the people will identify themselves as republicans after that. It's 27% now and you people are not listening to the people, so it's going to bewteen 9-12% after 2012. Just keep Limbaugh and Cheney out there as your spokespersons and next election is going to be an even a bigger landslide for Obama and the democrats
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
