I'll agree with ill trooper. I spend Physical money, I expect to have my physical Items with me. I don't trust no company with something that I have brought especially when it comes to my Movies and Music.
(Get over it. Buy HDMI equipped components and enjoy the HD moving pictures)
It's Idiots like you the reason Sony and MPAA are going to get away with it. consumers are not educated in what DRM is and what it will do. I certainly will not buy.
Basically the wholesale price of a blu-ray movie will be 17.99 for old titles and $23.99 for new releases. You then have to mark up 40% to distribution, and another 40% to retail. That means blu-ray movies will be $34.99 for old titles and $45.99 for new releases.

People already are complaining about paying more than $25 for a DVD. What makes these morons think they can double the price and survive?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
