Sony will have to improve the PSN quite a bit before I'd pay for it. I don't mind paying for Xbox Live, because it's awesome. I've probably played multiplayer games on my PS3 2 hours in 2009. So, I just wouldn't pay for it if they changed to pay. I get my fill on my PC and Xbox 360.
Before reading this, I was not interested in playing this game again. The achievement whore in me seeing this news gaurantees I'll be playing it again. :-)
I was in the preview. I checked everything out and haven't gone back to Facebook or Twitter since. I have listened to last.fm a couple times. I also rented a 1080p streaming movie just to check it out. Looked good, but not Blu-ray good of course.

I got the MW2 360 on Tuesday and have lost the preview dashboard. Well, at least last.fm, twitter and facebook are gone. For some reason, I still have Zune. Looks like I get it all back in just a couple days.
I've got one sitting right here. Used it last night to transfer over to my new 250 GB hard drive.
I just gave it a try and it works well. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is in 720p according to my HDTV.

The experience is definitely slower than on Xbox 360. That and having to use the disc means I'll stick with using it on 360. I got the disc because it was free and I wanted to see how it worked. For people that only have the PS3, it works pretty very well.
I want God of War 3, but I don't want that box in my house. I'll stick with the $60 version.
I went into Splosion Man this morning to get my shirt. I didn't play multiplayer, due to lag, so I didn't get the second shirt.
Is there a way to transfer DLC between Wii consoles? Say I wanted to waste some money replacing my white one for this new fancy black one. Can I use the Virtual Console games I've bought on the new console?

I'll be contributing to console sales in November. I'm picking up the MW2 Xbox 360 bundle. This will be the third 360 I've bought. I bought the second one for HDMI, which made integrating into my home entertainment system much easier.

I geeked out when the slim PS3 came out. I want the new thing, but I've got an original 60 GB PS3. So, if I went slim, I'd give up PS2 back compat, 2 USB ports and the card readers. Not that I use any of them a ton.
I'm contemplating doing this. I didn't really have 3 games that I wanted to own. I'm buying Forza 3 for sure this week. Like half my 360 friends list are playing Borderland. So, I'm now wanting to buy that kinda. Then I played the Ratchet & Clank PS3 demo last night and want that.

Borderland and Ratchet were going to be rentals for me, but now it's got me thinking with this buy 2, get 1 free deal.

Plus, I should be getting Uncharted 2 from Gamefly Monday or Tuesday and I'm right in the middle of Godfather II. I really don't think I need 3 new games right now. By the time I get to them, they might only be $40 new. :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
