From what I can see there was no new firmware released for blu ray players today.
It's on FIOS and I believe comcast as well
So excited to have coverage back on TV and in HD to boot!
I wonder a couple things about this.

1. How many of these TV's are 32" or smaller. Would HD be nice on a 32" TV? Of course. Is it going to blow your mind? Prob not.

2. Some people really don't care. They just want cheap cable. Why cheap cable with a fancy TV you say? At this point it's hard to replace your TV with anything over 32" that isn't HD.

I'll buy @ $150
I'm confused, we've been able to buy movie before we were able to rent them, The only movies we haven't been able to buy are the ones in HD, unless that's changed then nothing has changed.
Right now Apple TV only allows for rental of HD content. You can't pay for and download(keep) HD movies only rent them. I don't get what is so hard to understand about that.
HD downloads would be a very nice addition
My fav scene...ummmm dunno but I want to see it!
these pics are painfully old and most insiders dismissed these months ago.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
