I'm glad that Asheville's tv station is finally getting the HD. The CBS affiliate out of Greenville is the only one we have now, and the anchors they have on there need to figure out that HD means PLEASE DON'T WEAR AS MUCH MAKEUP. It's caked on, and you can see where it rubs off on the cheap suit of the guy they have. It's terrible. Plus their weatherlady is more than a little frightening with her dead eyes and her EMPhasiSIS on THE WRong PaRTS of WORds.

PS: lbchs22: Trust me the "tree huggin lesbians" of which you speak probably have about as much interest in backwoods inbreeders like yourself as you have for them. They can keep making soap and not shaving, and you can keep having sex with your children. Everybody's happy!

One thing they don't mention is that in order to recieve these new HD locals you've got to have a guy come out and add an eye to your dish. This costs 100 bucks,

I just got my 360 back (RROD) as well and while it looks like I got a different one (different serial number) it's a refurb. The interesting this is while it sounds like the drive is much quieter, they put a HUGE fan in it that makes at least as much noise as the drive did. So now when I'm done playing a game the fan keeps blowing and it makes too much noise to be able to enjoy watching a movie through it. I love this thing, but I've been through two, and with the noise thing now...

I just wish the ps3 had some games.

I picked up the 50 inch panasonic plasma from crutchfield for 1300 therabouts. It will take two very long weeks for it to get here, but delivery is free, and I had to send the frickin' xbox back again anyway..
