The Samsung Blu-Ray Player was 'launched' last week actually, although only a couple of stores even have demo models (mine doesn't). $1599

This isn't a poll on the Next Gen Movie platforms, this is a fanboy counter basically. A site like this will not have the input of enough informed Home Theatre enthusiasts to get a proper read from people who know what they are talking about.

Oh, and Blu-Ray, even though I very much doubt I will ever be getting a PS3.
Can someone find me a TV which accepts 1080p over component?? And 1080p only really effects people with a full HD set (which here in Australia is about 5 people ATM :)). A 1080p TV would upscale a 720p input to the native 1080p anyway, so whats the difference here? Better smoothing of textures? This sounds just like a bullet point that MS wants but will not have a large impact in terms of developers or even features that most consumers want.
OK so 1080p output from the console is only useful if you have a 1920*1080 screen anyway. But if you input 720p or 1080i to the screen it has to upscale to native 1080p anyway. Useless anyone???
It's not a big deal, 1080p will go over the component cables anyway. It will only be an issue if the Blu-Ray publishers decide to implement the ICP tag on their movies, which they haven't yet and have agreed not to until 2012 I believe. So why should Sony include a cable that only 25% of the user base will utilise out of the box (at least this year anyway). Microsoft never included the component cable pack with the original Xbox, and was that an issue???
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
