Does anyone know if this thing has a Proximity Sensor??
Ok, so if Verizon is having 'kittens' about the Storm 2 and advertising it like the Droid, then RIM should be allowed to port this over to Sprint and I'd be happy.

RIM.......give me a Storm 2 on SPRINT!!!!!!

I don't game. But for Blu-ray movies, this is the chit....

I'll dump my fat 80 gig and pick up a new PHAT 120 gig if:

1. It finally has IR reader
2. It bitstreams HD codecs

Here's hoping that they did the right thing......
I didn't catch on to Sprong using the vessel to capture the soul. I was just that much into the show to even see that. I thought it was great.

I too hope that this show goes onto another season. But if it doesn't, this is how I want it to end. I would love to see the devil actually NOT be the devil but actually God. Great twist right?

In the episodes that I've seen (I haven't seen them all) I've never seen the devil actually kill any one. It's always alluded to, but I've never seen it.

So it would be a great way to end this series. Like it was some kind of test for Sam that he was put through, but for good.

That would make this series truly awesome!
I'd like to win this please.

Oh, and I want world peace too.

Ha, I know. Both pipe dreams.

Speaking of pipes.......
Here's another thing that worries me about D/L any kind of HD content:

Internet providers placing D/L caps on my service!!

So until I can get it written in stone that they won't cap my bandwidth, I'm sticking to Blu-Ray.

I like that DirecTV is giving it's customers the option of having another news channel in HD, whether you agree with their programming or not.

1. I wonder what took them so long?
2. I wonder when DISH NETWORK IS GETTING IT!!!!

GRRRR

It upsets me to no end that the crappy Time Warner in Milwaukee is getting this channel in HD, but not Dish. And the HD on TWC is pathetic!

That's wrong on SO many levels.
Great, another new, nice HD channel that TWC-Milwaukee won't get anytime soon. I'll be able to sit and read Edgadget(HD) on how every other part of the country gets this channel in HD, but not the Milwaukee Market.

Just great.
So what I say! This is just another thing I'm not going to pay money for. I stopped buying tracks off of iTunes and am buying them from the Amazon MP3 store. Just more flexibility for me. And that's the point, I'm spending money on what suites ME!

I didn't mind paying Apple for good quality and complete songs (I hated file sharing because of that). But now that there is another choice, this bodes well for me.

And why would I want to pay for a show that I can just catch on their website for free (NBC)? I don't have HBO (In HD yet) but there isn't anything on there that I am willing to pay for that I can't DVR.
I went from TWC to Dish HD. Way more selection, WAY better picture quality and better DVR.

Only thing I don't like about it, bad weather. When there is a huge rain storm or gale force winds (lately) my service goes out. Of course, you don't have that with cable.

But I can deal with it and watch recorded shows on my DVR.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
