I've had a Tivo Series 1,2, and HD. All with the lifetime subscription. I've easily broken even on all of them.

With all the constant talk of Tivo being outdated, for years now, nothing really has supplanted the ease, the features, and cost.

Plus with the hack-community surrounding Tivo, you can do a lot like playing other media formats (pytivo).

WMC7 is nice, but takes more of an effort.

But I still find the Tivo UI top notch compared to most, if not all, of the alternatives.

TiVo, wins for now.
I'll take one. Maybe two.... :D

Yes please.....

Fixing the US economy. Take the states that take more than they give to the federal government and let them start their own country.....
I'd side with Comcast a bit more if they actually delivered on some of their other 'promises' like more HD channels, SDV, speed they claim, etc.....

And yes I'm all for pay for what you want, but than let me pay for the 15 channels I want and take the rest away.
No ways to fix the economy.... But RF might work.
Yes give us some channels to watch.... I'm tired of the food network in HD, but no 'real' Discovery HD or Comedy Central HD or CNN HD or ........
I was just talking to my wife about getting one... Now I can win one.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
