That deal at Costco is for the D64U model and not the D65U.

The difference between the two (I think) is that the 65U has 120hz while the other only has 60hz refresh rate. I have the 64U and it's good enough for me.

So, that Costco deal is actually really good if you don't mind the 60hz refresh rate.
I actually saw this featured in my local tv news. I was actually wowed. They showed the footage from the security cameras and I was like wow that looks fun. Just imagine next time you're walking in your local mall, but instead of walking, imagine driving.
is it just me or that fiat looks like a next gen mazda 3 sport hatchback?
I'd just wait for the iPhone when it comes to Asia. I know it's not until 2008, but by that time this thing will be more affordable or perhaps even better specs. Perhaps a high megapixel camera or video capture (I don't remember reading anything about video capture capabilities, like Nokia N93)?

Also, I hope the screen on this this is scratch proof or at least some kind of resistance. Everyone is talking about greasy/smudges, but scratches are more of my concern. Remember the first gen nano?
I forgot to add some other questions. What's the stand-by time on the iPhone? And who manufactures the iPhone?
I was looking at the iPhone gallery and I'm trying to look at the location of the headphone jack. Is there even one? Or is it all bluetooth and you need bluetooth headphones? Also, did Steve Jobs mention compatibility with PC or is it as long as you run iTunes, it's all okay?

Now I'm not an Apple hater, nor a lover. But as cool as the iPhone, it's disappointing you can't play Divx video, just Apple approved content. I swear, Apple would sell so much more than what they predict if they allow Divx and other media formats. As for the lack of GPS, to have access to Google/Yahoo maps is good enough. How annoying would it be to be looking at / listening to your iPhone while it dictates you directions? Just use the "From here - To here" feature and follow the written directions. Overall though, I'd buy an iPhone. I need to replace my 3G iPod.

As for Apple TV, I have the same complaint. Just Apple approved content, so no Divx. And I agree with the previous comments about how there are better alternatives. I think Apple put all the good stuff on the cellphone.
I'm reading some of the comments and most of them are praising this thing. Personally, this looks a step back rather than forward. I'm looking at the gallery and the picture of the back looks like a Chevy HHR. I'm all for cars looking unique, such as the Nissan Quest, but this one is just ugly. It almost looks like a Kia Sedona.
I hate to be the odd apple here, but I thought this was a very funny and well done episode. I do agree that the past seasons of SNL were terrible with only some very small laughs, but I think they've really improved this season. This episode is one example. I laughed really hard on the Apocalypto SNL re-edited trailer. Pure gold. I hope Justin Timberlake brings it next week.
Yup, this was one good episode that has restored my faith in the show. Funny thing about Ryan and Taylor is that my sister actually thought about it before season 4 started as a "what if" scenario, but of course it was in joking terms. Nonetheless, it's a good twist I didn't expect to ever happen.

Speaking of Taylor, the actress who plays her, Autumn Reeser, did an FHM shoot. I'm not sure which edition it was, but it wasn't long ago. You can try Googling it. But, if you think she's hot on the O.C., you'll think she's even hotter after you see her on FHM.

Another thing regarding Summer's intro. I thought those stages were the 5 stage of death and not grief. Or is it the same thing?
favourite song currently would have to be Hamburg Song by Keane.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
