Idiot? Wow. If I had an eight-year-old's appreciation for all things like you do, I'd actually be affected by your name calling.

Actually, I do have to watch Ugly Betty and Grey's against my will (gf watches both). And yes, I'm able to see how campy and silly the show is. But then again, perhaps I'm more interested in "oh-so-serious" shows like Breaking Bad, Dexter and Sons of Anarchy. Shows that actually are good and praised for their writing.

And I agree that Pushing Daisies should've never been canceled. I'm surprised other networks haven't picked up the show.

Oh. One more thing. Learn how to type properly while you're watching Ugly Betty.
"Why is ABC treating Ugly Betty so badly?"

Perhaps it's because the show is ridiculous and geared towards 8-year-old girls?

Considering the competition from high-praised shows on cable, the broadcast networks are probably cleaning house in order to survive. Or so you'd think.

This is a horrible show.
She was off-key more than a few times during her first song. Singers should be more concerned with hitting their difficult notes than flinging their hair in the wind. Painful.

During the sketches, she pretty much read off the cue cards openly. I'm surprised that she wasn't mouthing her lines before her cue.

But she's not an actress, so why bash her? Because her representation should've told her not to do this. Have her sing, because that's what's she strongest doing.

Except for that flat first song. Horrible.

But Bill Hader was fantastic in the 10 seconds that he was on.
@Creep - Agreed. This was the best episode of the series. If the rest of the episodes are anything close to this one, I hope that SOME network picks this series up. I'd gladly follow this show anywhere.

One moment that threw me was when I heard Keith Carradine speaking, and I thought "Is that Agent Landy? Am I watching Dexter?"

Great episode.
Wrong.

This isn't free TV. If I have to pay for it (just like you), then I'll comment on it. It's my right to watch it and comment on it, just like you.

The funny thing is I also commented on that horrible HBO show, Bored to Death, and the fan or two of that show claimed that I needed a classier sense of humor to "understand" that show.

Here, I criticize Californication, and everyone here says I need a "certain sense of humor." If this show is the opposite of Bored to Death (also bad, btw), I guess I'm stuck somewhere in the middle of comedy shows.

But yeah, this show is lame. Or is it "simple?"
Bruce's review, that is.

Sorry Danny, but your review borders on Dennis Miller's MNF rants.
Somehow... I liked this review better.
I don't understand why this show is on the air.

It's all about a lazy guy getting laid in many unrealistic ways.

I don't envy him at all. I just laugh at the writers who think all men want to be a lazy whiner like Duchovney.

Still, that stripper/student was hot.
Uh... no. You can't have an Izzy-bash-free thread.

Nope.
It was pretty obvious that Kevin chose his team poorly and that Amanda cost him the win.

Dave smartly chose Suzanne who was a good chef but a pain in the butt to deal with. It turned out that Dave's team outperformed Kevin's and Ramsey agreed.

It seemed that Kevin was the favorite all season. Too bad he chose Amanda, who choked on two stations.

And can I ask the producers to stop being so "Jerry Springer" with this show? It really is insulting to the audience who enjoys the cooking aspect of this show, not the gaudy side.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
