You guys keep mentioning the RS-232 control port. I've seen it on some of my devices but I have never used it. No RS-232 seems to be a deal breaker for you, like on the A30. Can you elaborate on how to use it to make home theater setups better. Thanks guys
Being that these are retail sales numbers I would be really interested to see the rentals numbers. I bought a HD-A2 almost a year ago now and I only own one disk - Discovery Planet Earth (HDDVD). I'm still afraid to buy until this war is won (or lost). Ill let Netflix have the risk of owning the loser... for $18 a month its worth not having to rebuy all my movies.
I have the HR20-100 and currently get the Video On-Demand on the box. You must plug the box into your network. Have not seen any HD on the VOD yet.

THIS WOULD BE GREAT

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
