Blu-ray holds more data and has quicker transfer rates, so its better for genreal data holding purposes. Its been developed with the cooperation of most of the big electronics companies, not just sony. Only 2 major companies have signed for HD, all the others are signed for Blu-ray, including DISNEY. As for price, a quick scan of amazon or play.com will show you there is negligible difference if any. There is no question of which format will sell the most units by the end of 2007...
I work for a UK chain that sells games consoles, we currently are running at about 1 in 5 360's coming back faulty. Some don't work straight out of the box. Microsoft has a serious build quality issue going on... and no they don't go back on the shelf if they get returned, they go back to microsoft to be "Repaired" lol...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
