Since I fear nothing in the dark, this is not necessarily the dark, but close enough: When I was young, like ten, I went camping up in some mountains. On a hike following a stream, we decided to stop where the water was kind of deep (at least 4 - 5 feet) and take a swim. I dove to the bottom and swam underwater for a bit. When I opened my eyes, I saw what my instinct perceived to be a great white shark. Yes, I understood I was in the mountains. Yes, I understood I was in a stream. Yes I understood sharks wouldn't be there, especially not great whites. I made a hasty retreat out of the stream only to realize that I was running away from a big rock.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
