No, they unfortunately use nVidia chipsets which in themselves are a pain.
You're forgetting all those wanting to stream video with their 360s from local sources such as Media Center or WHS. "N" makes sense for them.
Well, one reason it's cheaper than the "knock-offs" - they only support 2.4GHz whereas the MS adapter does both 2.4GHz and 5GHz: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessnnetadapter

It's still a lot of money for a WiFi adapter, but what isn't for the 360, but at least this time MS are giving you a better piece of kit.
This doesn't just fix WPA2, which btw was listed before the update and greyed out. It also fixes connections to routers that support WPA+WPA2 modes - I tried before with 3 different routers, Netgear, Linksys and Dlink and none of them could be connected to the 360 (it would see the network but would never connect) - everything else I have in the house could. Now with this update the 360 is also able to connect just like everything else.

I agree, the problem was pretty lame and I was amazed it was not fixed with the NXE update, but I'm glad it's finally here.
So you set WU to inform you and not install - duh!
A bit of competition for Cooliris, but without the convenience of being and add-on for your browser?
In fact, Xmarks continues to work with other servers - it still syncs to my own IIS server. This isn't new.
"In other news, Hulu has begun rolling out social features that could be either pretty cool or pretty creepy. "

- perhaps why they wanted to be off Boxee?
Buggy as hell, keeps crashing (Windows Vista, but never did 2 or 3 nightly releases previous to this one), numerous display issues (have you seen the system tray menu, default name sort is Z-A) - all reported, all ignored.

Should never have been a release-candidate let alone a full release.

Stick to v1 for now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
