I tested videoo playback over Windows 7. In short some videos play without a hitch; others are problematic; no videos will play from within Media Center.

At my suggestion, my mother-in-law installed a Tru-2-Way enabled TV in the Chicago suburb where we live. Unfortunately she has been dragging her feet in getting more than basic cable to go with it! Hopefully in a couple of weeks that will happen. When it does I'd be happy to do a review.
It does not have DLNA or uPnP support. That is why I don't use any squeezebox devices.
I am interested in knowing how it works with DLNA compliant servers (e.g. how does it navidgate the tree structures they might provide) and music served up by them (e.g. does it play WMA, Flac, Ogg files).
Do you know if the new OCUR firmware will also allow programs tagged as "copy freely" to be recorded without DRM in Vista Media Center?

Any possibility these drivers might be available from another source (e.g. ATI's website) before appearing on Windows Update?
Right on.
Does it have an IR receiver?
Isn't that just a long way of saying that the reason TV Pack wasn't released to end used was because it was buggy? Presumably that is the reason that OEM's have not released any systems using it.

If none of the US the features were not going to be used until Windows 7, why not just release it as a Window 7 technology preview?

Although, upon reflection, perhaps that is just semantics
I need something to spend time on now that our twins have reached the ripe old age of 4.
I need something to spend time on now that I won't be buying Too Human.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
