Regarding running TiVo on DTV hardware, I remember reading the opposite: there will be 2 choices, DTV's hardware or TiVo hardware, not choice of software on the same box.
i just returned one of these to the apple store today, haha,..but i'll still take it for free!
I agree with badweasel, I bought an LG 8X bluray burner and just stuck it in my Mac Pro, it works fine...true i have to boot into windows to watch BD movies (VMWare PC wont play it either). I paid $200 for the burner so don't waste your money on this.

Also, badweasel has good instructions but it was much much simpler than that for me. I got an angled SATA cable and used a pair of long nosed plyers to plug it into the socket underneath the assembly (without having to remove anything from the mac). I hooked up 2 SATA cables there this way, was not a problem unless you have huge sausage finger hands :P
i'll take it
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
