by the way, where is your cousin? major electronic stores should all have them.
In Tokyo. I saw used ones and new ones at a place called "dorama" near shibuya. Also Bic Camera always has a bunch in stock. Your cousin should have no problem finding one:)
it comes out here in 5 days!
in Japan, I always see Wiis in stock. they are always always available. Whoever wrote this article hasnt been here and didnt do any research.

oh hey Chris, yeah, I reread how he wrote and he said it was the only 5 star HE ever gave so my bad. There are different reviewes I guess.

And thanks, I am going to check this out actually. I want to see how a 5 star HDDVD performs.

Have you seen this HDDVD?
totally agree with you. and if someone doesnt think it is worth it, I wonder why they would read engadgetHD and not just regular engadget
yeah, I have had a better experience with my ps3 than with my A20 so far. I do hear that the some Sony standalones BD players are noisy and slow too. my A20 is not too noisy(thats my 360) but it is very slow and not at all responsive. but it was 230 bucks so didnt pay a fortune for it.
thats interesting, I commented earlier that Ratatouille got the best rating of any hi def disc ever and it made me want to buy it just to see its features.

I have a similar feeling for my V for Vendetta HDDVD(Japanese Version) so I am hoping transformers will be better when I pick it up. its not out here in Japan yet :(
Hi Mike, actually Computer Animation is where HD really shines. It is not my favorite genre of movie but it looks so crisp in HD. Plus, in hi def digest, Ratatouille was the first disc of any format to get a 5 star rating.

"This Blu-ray release is also fantastic, boasting absolutely perfect video and audio, plus a great package of extras. I've reviewed over 500 next-gen discs over the last year and a half, and not one has received a perfect five star rating overall, but there's a first time for everything and I'm happy to report that 'Ratatouille' is it."

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
