In Minnesota, only after I received a text message from AT&T around 8pm announcing the new feature, then it worked for me. So maybe each metro area has to get themselves in order.
In Minnesota so far, I only get a long wait and then a failure red icon. But it might be because I am trying to send to another iPhone 3GS that has not yet had its carrier settings updated.
My question is...

If my 3G or 3GS iPhone is updated with new carrier settings, can I send a photo to an iPhone 3G or 3GS that has not yet been updated with new carrier settings???

Can anyone test?

Also, if you do not have a monthly SMS plan for $5 or more, then MMS costs more. instead of 20 cents per message, it is 30 cents if you include a picture or multimedia.

Pick me, pick me! Thanks!
The best news reader that already fully integrates with Google Reader is Feeds. Awesome.
I have had nothing but great service and zero dropped calls in the Twin Cities. I know our 3G is relatively new here, since when the first EDGE iPhone was launched we didn't even have 3G service yet.
Perhaps combining this with an close up lens, such as on the Clarifi case from Griffin Technologies, would make this a winner.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
