I had a friend who would put the cartridge in, and if it didn't work, he would hold down the reset button and bang the right side of the machine a few times. Worked pretty well.

I'm definitely getting an XBox 360 this November, but I'm waiting until the 42 inch Samsung DLP is around $1500 including a stand and shipping before I go high definition. I have a feeling those $800 models won't be so hot.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
