Uh what? It's not odd at all. Nintendo has never had a booth at TGS. Just having the keynote they had last year was a remarkable turnaround.
NSMB has already passed 1.5 million sold in Japan alone, despite releasing 10 days later than the US, so clearly it's not worldwide.
Bleach is right up there with Naruto. When it eventually gets on air over here, it will likely have a slightly older skewing audience.
I think more interesting is the fact that TV watching drops more than half after the 3 cartoon satires.
#7 Jackie Chan: You have your gaming legends mixed up. Fable and Movies were both Peter Molyneux, who tends to overpromise and underdeliver, not Will Wright. Most of the hype for Spore comes from the people experiencing/watching it, not so much himself (which is the opposite of the two games you mentioned).

Will Wright has been doing Sim* games his entire career since the original SimCity and this is the culmination of all that experience. From all the videos I've seen, it looks like he'll come close to pulling this one off.
I read in one of the articles elsewhere that E3 announced that the Wii line broke all previous records.
Eh? It should be a bigger mob this year I'd think. I haven't been this excited for gaming in years and I know I'm not alone.
Right, because the DS isn't flying off shelves being sold to women and old people who never gamed in the first place.
Is there a card like the Avermedia A180 that works with regular Windows XP and doesn't need MCE?
That's one I'm looking for.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
