I will be Dr Evil
For anyone looking for achievements, Viking is a very good game. I just finished playing through it, and it is a pretty easy 820 or so points while the game is very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend it as a rent.
Try to make a bit more of a dent in GTA4, only 30% done so far. Then I need to finish Condemned 1 so I can start playing Condemned 2... but those games just dont seem as fun as GTA, so not sure if that will happen.
Yeah, Logitech Z-5450 here too. It is a nice cheap setup and works wonderfully. The remote isn't great and it does crash every now and then when the signal changes on the fly (cabletv), but the rest of the system makes up for it. There is also a bit of interference on the 2.4ghz range, which does slow down older wifi or cause issues with cordless phones, but those don't seem to interfere with the speakers or sound quality at all.
At $200 it is by far the cheapest solution you will find.
Yeah, Mafia 1 was hugely fun and overall an awesome game, I'm really looking forward to Mafia 2
I need to finish up Burnout Paradise, but CoD4 is calling me very strongly. Plus I havent tried out the new Halo3 maps, so might give that a go. Is it worth the $10 for the Halo maps?
moved to cali (from the east coast) without having a job lined up.
This game is awesome, worth owning since it will take forever to get all the achievements.
oh nevermind, I see now that the press release says "with their Xbox Live gamertag and/or PlayStation Network ID. "
Any word on if this PS3 players will have a similar access/stats ? This could be one of the better features of the xbox version if the playstation doesnt get it. I'm all about halo 3 stats, and my biggest issue with CoD4 is that it doesnt have online stat tracking.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
