Are there any Bly-Ray discs with BD-Live out yet?
Thanks for your comments!

I agree, this is a bold statement and ALL your arguments are correct.

However, you know how the electronics industry works, it all comes down to a volume/price ratio.
I have been speaking to dozens of friends and hundreds of customers ( I am a Project Manager for a Custom Installation company) and there is a clear and very strong trend developing. People are fed-up with the clumsiness of Windows and love the cool, sleek and functional iMacs!

So, all that's required is to get the momentum going and, as volume sales of iMacs go up, the prices will go down! That's as sure as Murphy's law.

Admittedly, I deal with an affluent segment of the market, but that's were most trends start, and don't say it's not possible.
If you grew up in the IBM dominated era (like me old fart) you witnessed their fall and being pushed into the boring niche of commercial computing.

I genuinely think this IS going to happen, time will tell to which extent.
I will buy my first iMac very soon!
Vista or XP? Who cares!

I guarantee that in 5 years the home market will be dominated by Apple Macs!

I have just fallen victim to a "Windows Genuine Advantage" bug rendering my MCE PC totally useless. The ticket with M$ is still open but no solution obviously. I am migrating everything to iMac!
I suggest you use this beautiful piece of photographic kit to take pictures of itself if you want to publish them here. Just pop to the Loo (Sorry, Bathroom) and stand in front of the mirror....

Buy! Buy! HD-DVD!

...sorry, I meant:

Bye, Bye HD-DVD!!!

"News from the Wanker"

You are having a laugh!
This was my first console as well, glad to see that I am not the only old fart still interested in this stuff.
By the way, I just bought my second console in life, a PS3.... can't wait for the sarcie comments!
Could someone tell me how to distinguish the remastered version from the first one, I want to make sure I buy the new release?
Here is my 2-pennies worth:

- USB ports in the back
- Infrared remote for Home Theatre integration
- Cascading feature, so you can hook 2, 4, 8 or 16 PS3s together and turn them into a supercomputer!!!
- Compatibility with an external TV tuner
- Ability to create folders for media organising
- Media streaming from networked devices (Windows Connect, Upnp, ...)

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
