I have a comcast motorola 6200 hd box and I wanted to use the 1394 ports. I called comcast to see if it would work and they said they were disabled. I asked what the point of having them and not using them was. The lady said most things are disabled like the smart card slot in the front. I asked her what that slot was for and she told me that in the future we would be able to put credit cards in there for informercials or home shopping network type things.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
