I own both and multiple HD's, there is no noticeable difference between HDMI or component, or visual quality of PS3 and XBOX360, I've gone through 5 360's and 2 PS3's, and the 360 is louder; I have now issued the bottomline on those two subjects, carry on.
Not sure what you mean by "there's no component out", but surely you're not suggesting you can't output via a component cable, I am I being dense?

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
