When everybody thought that they were going to return to that $400 price point, they pull a 90 degree turn on it. This allow for people to pick out the $60 game they want with the system, instead of a pack in. Also leaves Microsoft with the high price point system this year.
This is the only caveat that will make me believe in DLC and digital distrubution. If I can't resell it, at least I will be able to pay a price that I feel agreeable with. Not a price that you have to pay and there is no other option other than don't buy.

As a consumer, I should have the right to find the best deal for my dollar. With digital distribution, you elimate free commerce and take away the number one factor in consumerism, competition.
For new copies, you can get GOTY Oblivion and Bioshock for $19.49 and $19.99 respectively. So basically, if you want both right now, you can get it for $40.

Yes, marketing is not doing its job if it can't see the inconsistency in the pricing for this special bundle. Or they think people are complete morons, which I wouldn't put it past them.
Wow late to the game...

I guess I will have a bonus when I pick it up. But I have been playing the series on X360. So which copy should I pick up?
Three letters, DRM. Sony will put that on the music and the store won't last a year...
Ok, first Madworld so far has sold less than 120k copies, worldwide, at best. NMH sold almost 400k to date. That after 1 and 1/2 years. Spiderman: Web of Shadows have sold about 140k units so far.

Yes, COD:WAW sold well, with the COD name backing it up. Prototype, new IP, has yet to sell to anyone. Yes it could be a run away hit but its hasn't done it yet so, we will see.

Last years Dead Space was a surpirse hit. Enough so that EA is making a Wii version... on rails.

I'm just saying before everyone gets excited, don't expect a port like Dead Rising, which did 130k so far. If they do a port, it won't be as you see on 360/PS3...
Why? They got a very experienced team and I pretty sure that they could hire comic book writers stories and missions. Cryptic got Champions Online, which I am looking forward to but I couldn't image what Blizzard Comic MMO would be like.
Oh man, what if its like another comic book MMO. I would bowed down and welcome my Blizzard overlords....
Sorry, nothing against the Wii audience but I would bet its a Spiderman game. Nothing "hard Mature" has worked with the Wii outside of the occasional rail shooter so far and I don't think they would get a publisher for Prototype on the Wii until something changes that.

Unless they plan to make a Teen version of Prototype...
Are you kidding?? A God of War game meets Twisted Metal game. Pure awesome!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
