This may just be because I'm still close to her age but I think Kristin Kreuk from Smallville is out of this world (get it? ;) http://users.atw.hu/kristinkreuk/Ocean_Drive_Magazine_07.jpg Also, the British girl from Boston Legal is all kinds of all right: http://www.poster.net/mitra-rhona/mitra-rhona-photo-xl-rhona-mitra-6223296.jpg I would have added Evangeline Lily from Lost too...but hey, that's just me and the list is just someone else's opinion.
You can add SWAT to that list as well. I still think that she's sexy though. Also, no way I put Eva Longoria as the top 1...maybe not even in the top 5. Same thing with Barton (btw, EAT SOMETHING!). I her costar Rachel Bilson (sp?) is far more attractive than Barton is...and IMHO, Vanessa Marcil needs to be higher.
Congrats to Jared!
Congrats Rich, I was pulling for ya! I personally will be waiting for a while to make a decision/purchase but I certainly would be interested to hear people's thoughts.
My favorite post was Top ten celebs in high-def: http://www.hdbeat.com/2005/09/29/top-10-celebs-in-high-def/ Why? Jessica Alba, of course! ;) Seriously though, I liked that one because it becomes obvious in the comments section how willing people who visit the site are when it comes to helping others with their questions. That's always great to see in any community.
Hey, if they can actually get this whole convergence thing WORKING, it would be nice to see - they do seem to have set up a foundation with their new TVs supporting that anynet whatever it's called. If they start pumping out the rest of their products with this and you could get all of them working correctly from your TV...that'd be great. I mean, every time I go to a CC or BB, there are tons of people repeating the mantra - it just want it to be simple, for it to work and for it to work with other stuff. Now if only more companies would pay attention...
Yeah, I hear that - the movie looks like it could rock...though I played the demo for the Xbox 360 and I was not entirely enthusiastic about it. It was choppy and there was significant control lag. Hopefully, it was just an early demo or something - whatever the case, I'm still going to check out that movie.
Right on Rich, Lord...I have watched the spanish channel for a good long while sometimes for no other reason. It really is amazing...I don't know how (or where) they find all those beautiful women to put on TV but I do know this...I need to re-learn Spanish!
By the way, HP does a good job on their plamas too. Actually, I should say that Panansonic does good plasmas since HPs just seem to be rebadged Panasonics...or so it would seem. Just FYI for people who are on the lookout for a bargain - a Panasonic plasma for less (theoretically). More info for those who are interested: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=585216
Hey, as a sidebar to this conversation, this person did what I think a lot of people were thinking, that is play back an Itunes video (Ivideo?) back on a big screen and seeing what it looked it. He didn't seem to mind so much. http://tinyurl.com/ctsz7 Check out the screenshot at the end.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
