Yep. Ten HD is no more, and instead we have One HD - Hi Def Sports like Poker. WTF!

(And the article linked is dated March 10 2008)
Are you kidding? Frostmourne will be a drop??

I hope it mutates friends/guild chat so you think everyone's out to get you, and whispers things to you.

Kill them - kill them all ....
I only went down the HD path due to a very definite Bluray "Wow" moment. Sure, I'd seen all those pretty HD screens before, but it was when I saw Ratatouille playing in a store demo that blew my socks off.

Of course, the quality of a Bluray release can vary widely, just like any format. Look back at the early DVD days and there were some pretty crap quality releases. Even The Matrix, heralded as an amazing DVD release, looks a bit meh in quality when you compare it to the standard new DVD release of today.

On the flipside, Bluray can still surprise me with how well some really old movies can scrub up, when done properly.

The investment in Bluray is also much bigger than DVD. You could buy a DVD player, plug it into a crappy old TV over composite, and see and instant improvement. Bluray on a SD TV looks, well, like DVD. The big HD TV, the expensive AVR and speakers - that's when Bluray shines - and your average Joe (who can't even set his Apsect Ratio right) doesn't care.
The Living End - hell yes!! Bring on more Aussie rock!

Hopefully a master track (after the Carry Me Home cover in GH2), and hopefully a precursor to future TLE DLC. Bring it on!
I'm hoping for Starcraft: Ghost: Xtreme Volleyball!! ;)
That doesn't make any sense. Why would the controller with extra buttons not work on the game that requires less? Where'd you read Rock Band guitars couldn't be used with Guitar Hero III? (Citation Needed! -_^)
Quite gun?? Quite FUN!
Damn typos...
I'm a casual player with a single 70, and just got my Epic Flying Mount. I don't think it's too expensive.

I just did quests where possible, and did the daily quests for Ogrila/Skyguard. The dailies I found fun to do over and over again, given there's a variety of activities that were quite gun. I could usually knock off 2-4 dailies in half an hour while I had breakfast.

I got my 5200gp just as I hit Exalted with Skyguard, so got a speedy Red Nether Ray. Zoooooom! Absolutely love it!
Schweet! Cool mounts FTW!
Right, because there's no-one who's addicted to Halo, Counter-Strike, or any other computer game, right?

WoW is just another game. Some people get hooked on it, and play it whenever possible, others just play it now and again for fun.

Lumping the entire WoW player population into a single Lifestyle stereotype is ridiculous.

Oh wait, this is an Internet forum. Bring on the wild generalisations and negativity!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
