poor college student needs new laptop, help engadget!

I really like PlayOn for hulu and youtube streaming, but i've found that netflix often ends up with horrible quality, if it plays at all. If netflix is a priority i would probably go with a dedicated box, like the roku, although i haven't tested this myself yet.

i know i'm not following the rules here, but i really can't think of a specific post that is my favorite. Not to say that you haven't provided me with some of the best technology news and one of the most entertaining staffs (staves? sp) of writers on the interets, to be honest there isn't one that i could name as my absolute favorite. I love the running machine overlords gag, and i remember the first time Ben Heckendorn was mentioned on the site (molding an NES to his evil uses i believe), and when the drama with Gizmondo was unfolding. I've been reading Engadget practically since it's inception and i just wanted to take this chance to thank you and to wish you a happy 5th Birthday, with many more undoubtedly to come.

fix for the world economy: all currency converted to wii points. i'm not sure how that would help, but everyone could have a copy of dr. mario.
