It would be enjoyable to have this thing.
Count me in... sounds like fun!
How about a reality show about two groups of people who try to build a lunar probe. They could get reasonable seed money and access to one rocket scientist (if they can't supply their own). Maybe get cooperation from NASA or one of the other space agencies to get the probe to the space station and launch from there.

Bottom line is, if they are successful in building a probe to orbit and even perhaps land on the moon, not only is it riveting television - the first HD coverage of the moon - but it's great for our culture and a testament to the capitalist spirit.

It's a lot of money but imagine the return on investment!!
