Julio Jones!
Aw! But, I love my ViP 722!

Please don't take away my precious!
Hey, you're missing an option on the poll. I got a BD player the same day and clicked the option to receive BluRays as soon as I heard the price went up.

Previously, I didn't know it was even an option, but that still means I increased my subscription upon hearing about the price increase.

So, I guess with me, Netflix is going to say, "Hey, price increases actually appeal to some customers!"

We're screwed.
Unpacked mine yesterday. In combination with my Ethernet bridge and Sony XBR4, it's brilliant. So long Toshiba A2, you were a good friend...
Love ya Dish. But, where's my FOX NEWS?
I was with DirecTV for about 8 years before I finally switched to Dish.

I couldn't be happier.

Bottom line is that I'm in love with Dish hardware. As far as a total package, I can't imagine a better experience than I get with my ViP 722 DVR.

Once DirecTV moved past the Tivo HR10 and began to show a great reluctance to allow customers to have easy access to off air free TV through their receivers, they lost me. All my HD Dish receivers tune ATSC.
Numbers don't "jive," they "jibe." The only jive is this massacre-of-the-English-language lead sentence. Here endeth the lesson.
Why do nearly all news reports exclude the fact that EADS - Northrop Grumman will be employing AMERICAN workers in these projects? People in my part of the U.S. are VERY pleased with the outcome of this contract award. The positive economic impact will be staggering. Conspiracy theories and accusations of selling out are nothing but sour grapes.
Just got Dish at my new home in Mobile, so this sounds great. But, no NBC? Curses, that's the only one I can't alternately get via OTA.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
