What a useless feature.

The part that sucks is that this is going to be a failure, and they high ups in DirecTV will figure that since this is a failure there is no reason to persue the HDPC-20.

What in the hell is the point of this app, Jesus, what a waste of resources!
Oh my gawd, I just read something regarding my television and got WOOD!?!?!?!

I think something is very wrong with me.
The one and only thing that could make me buy a PS3 is MythTV. I am a casual gamer who watches a lot of TV. So I purchased a couple 360's becuase they served as Media Center Front ends. Well MCE like all Windows Products has started to really suck and with all the windows crashes, I am missing the old MythTV Days.
I am waiting for the HDPC-20 to:
Buy a new Television
Build a new Computer
Make the switch from cable to DirecTV.
Everything is on hold, waiting for the HDPC-20, or at least official word on it's requirements.

I am waiting for a new tv, new media center(s).

I want to know/be sure that the Media Center I build will work with the HDPC-20. Will I be able to play HD content recorded from the HDPC-20 on other media centers, or will I have to use extenders (I think I'll have to use extenders)
Greetings,

I had a problem with shuttering DRM content on my Vista Ultimate computer. It was only DRM content that was the problem. The fix for me was to "Disable all Enhancements" in control panel/sound/XXX
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
