uum.. the FIOS install for Stuyvesant town was 11000+ apartments in one shot.. Sure they're all in one spot, but that certainly counts as large in my book.
dssstrkl is right.. Cali voids all non-competes.. Sorry Moto..
#5, why doesn't it txt us with a link that has the username/password in it, so we just click and it opens in safari?
Why not put them 4x $1k machine, giving you 4 teraflops per $5k machine.

250 of them, and you'll have a petaflop for 1.25mil.

That'll cut the maintenance and networking by at least 1/2.. so 1/2 mil each.. and leaving the rest the same gives a total of 2.45 million.
my bad.. the 17" is 2-3 generations old at this point I totally forgot it existed as a currently selling product..
PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY: This offer is available only on purchases of new products. All new Macintosh computers and the Configure-to-order versions of these products
are eligible, except for Mac mini and 17” iMac.

Since when is there a 17" iMac.. I smell a new product coming..
Does DW4 chew away at 15% of your CPU when it's running idle (minimized even) like DW3 does?
Forget the Air, give me one of these for my MBPro.. 200/160MBps read/write speed! Thats 10+x the speeds I get from the hd in my current MBP, and more than double the speed of my raid 0 2x750 FW800 external drive..

I went from 130 a month w/ verizon for a treo + data.. to about 83 (69.99 + 13.68 tax) with AT&T for the iPhone.. The rollover minutes kept me from needing as many, so I have 450+rollover where I had 750 or so before.. And I have 1500 txt messages, before it was 500, and I went over..

Now the only time I go over is if I call or txt Canada.
it's an issue of power.. powered USB ports can take up to 1/2 amp of power.. times the 12 you want and that's 6 amps of potential max power (@ 5 volts). Given most power bricks are in the 1 amp @ 12 volts range (12 watts), it gets a little tricky to have a 30+ watt one that's small and doesn't put out so much heat that it can't get UL listed.

Not to say it can't be done, just that's where the difficulty lies. Mini/Towers have full on fan cooled power supplies putting out 10+ amps on the 5v legs.. Apple Mini & laptops have a much more stringent supply of 5v power, thus fewer ports..

give 2 of the belkin stackable 7 port hubs a try, that should cover you..

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
