If I win, I promise to report it on next years tax return. Honest. (I also have some land in FL you guys might be interested in.)
I've got two Tivo's; the SD version has been in use for over 8 years while the relative newcomer HD model S3 has been going for 16 months. It would be difficult to imagine going backwards to "life before the pause button".

I choked when I used the MOTO dvr for the first time: sadly, nearly pathetically, inferior to the Tivo. In it's defense, it has a pause button, but i cannot defend it beyond that.

Apple should buy Tivo, incorporate the Tivo software into AppleTV, and complete the "convergence" concept once and for all. That box would make the iPod phenom look trivial by comparison.
Here in NYC, TW includes Universal HD as part of the digital lineup, no extra $, not as part of the HD tier. Still, I think it's criminal that anyone should have to pay extra for HD.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
