Why should PS3 owners pay to access the same content every Internet user has access to? Just because you own an Xbox 360 and have to pay for their online service, that doesn't mean everyone should. In the simplest terms, the PS3 is a computer with a browser...why should it be treated differently? Jackhole.

Does the US EVER get firmware updates from Nokia?

Does it ever stop Engadget or these other blogs from telling those of us on the edge of anticipation that there is a new firmware available for us, the consumer, only to find out it wasn't for us, but for their super special pre-NAM version of the phone the blogger got from their buddy at Nokia???

Don't get me wrong, I love my E71, but if one more "report" comes out about firmware that I'm not privileged enough to have...I'm going' iPhone on their ass...

So lemme get this straight...when new phones come to market, if they don't have all of the bells and whistles that the iPhone does, it's considered an inferior phone not worth being bothered over. But when a KIRF "iFone" comes to be, it too is scoffed at BECUASE it's trying to be like the iPhone...???

You're right, out of the 7+ Nokia's that's I've owned over the past 9 years, none of them ever had that "solid" feel, but they sure did hold up to the punishment / wear and tear I put them through. I now have the E71 - it's the most solid device I have ever owned... :)

I'd much rather have an Open Source OS with a ton of free, good apps for download then to pay Apple every time I want something they decided not to put on the phone...like cut and paste...
