<div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/03/sprint-galaxy-nexus-lg-fury-lte-leak/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img alt="sprint galaxy nexus" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/galaxynexussprint-leak.jpg" style="margin: 4px; width: 593px; height: 282px;" /></a></div><p> First it appeared in <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/05/galaxy-nexus-sprint-rumor/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">a slipped ad</a>, and then on <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/10/sprint-galaxy-nexus-lte-smartphone-unveiled-engadget-stage-ces-2012/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">The Engadget Show during CES</a>. More recently, Sprint's variant of the Samsung <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/24/galaxy-nexus-hspa-review/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Galaxy Nexus</a> was spotted <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/15/sprint-galaxy-nexus-fcc/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">coasting</a> through the FCC, and now it's practically a lock to launch between three and six weeks from now. We've received word that Sprint has initiated employee training specifically for the Galaxy Nexus and Android 4.0, which will enlighten staff on the benefits of the handset, ICS and Google Wallet. Those involved with the training have to wrap things up within the next fortnight, leading us to believe that it'll make its way into retail outlets in late April or early May. In related news, the coursework also makes mention of enabling LTE on a heretofore unannounced "LG Fury" -- <em>presumably</em> not to be confused with the similarly titled handset <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/09/zte-fury-coming-to-sprint-on-march-11/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">from ZTE</a>. Unfortunately, details beyond the name on that guy are nowhere to be found, but we'll be digging for more in the days ahead.</p><p> <strong>Update</strong>: We've since stumbled upon a full slide deck of the training guide, and while there's nothing <em>too</em> surprising here, we are seeing that early units will ship with LTE <strong>turned off by default</strong>, though the company will change that at an undetermined time in the future. Call us crazy, but it sounds like Sprint may start hawking these prior to its LTE network being fully active. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">Sprint Galaxy Nexus leaked training guide</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/4938118?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/sprintgalaxynexusslides1-1333491691_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/4938121?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/sprintgalaxynexusslides32-1333491692_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/4938122?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/sprintgalaxynexusslides4-1333491694_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/4938123?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/sprintgalaxynexusslides5-1333491695_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.engadget.com/photos/sprint-galaxy-nexus-leaked-training-guide/4938124?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/04/sprintgalaxynexusslides2-1333491697_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></p>

For those unfamiliar, it'll be a rather low-end smartphone targeted at the budget market, where $20 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) will snag an Android 2.3 handset that packs a 1GHz processor, a 3.5-inch touchscreen and 5MP camera. For those keeping score, it also features 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Perhaps we'll find out on March 11th whether less truly is more.

This past week, we've seen a major shakeup in the world of mobile payments and we were thoroughly teased by Rogers, which launched a curious pre-order promotion for the Lumia 900. These stories and more await after the break. So buy the ticket and take the ride as we explore the "<a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/mm?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">best of the rest</a>" for this week of February 27th, 2012.

Still, given our experiences with janky Bluetooth gear, we're feeling a bit uneasy about the new CLEARBLUE <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/bluetooth%20headset?utm_source=Feed_Classic&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Engadget">bluetooth headset</a> for pilots. Developed by LoPresti, the device is said to automatically prioritize communications between four simultaneously connected devices: 1) ATC/Radios (highest priority), 2) Intercom, 3) Cellphone (is that even legal?), and 4) the iPod. Apparently, the system will be ready later this year and is designed to work with LoPresti's Fury aircraft which uses the iPod as both an in-flight entertainment system and -- get this -- the flight data recorder. We know what you're thinking, "surely they can't be serious." They are, now quit calling us Shirley. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.bluetoothsource.net/2007/05/lopresti-clearblue-bluetooth-headset-for-pilots">Bluetooth Source</a>]
