We got the heads up that <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/charter/">Charter</a> is expanding the footprint for its <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/23/charter-nearly-ready-to-deploy-digeos-3012-hd-dvr/">Cable HD DVR 3012</a> multistream CableCARD box, starting with Wisconsin. Apparently following a successful test in St. Louis Charter is ready to deploy 23,000 of the set-top boxes in 2009 and make it the primary DVR in the area. No official word from Charter on the new hardware yet, but the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/17/digeo-readies-two-moxi-set-top-boxes-for-release/">trend</a> of Digeo actually shipping units is one we can get used to.<br /><br />[Thanks, Anonymous]<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/dvrs/" rel="tag">DVRs</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/set-top-boxes/" rel="tag">Set-top boxes</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/others/" rel="tag">Others</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/cable/" rel="tag">Cable</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/04/28/charters-moxi-3012-hd-dvr-rollout-reaches-wisconsin/">Charter's Moxi 3012 HD DVR rollout reaches Wisconsin</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Tue, 28 Apr 2009 22:29:00 EST. Last month, the outfit announced that some of its wares would be deployed by Charter, and it also mentioned that an elusive second provider would be following suit shortly. Enter BendBroadband, a smallish cable company in Oregon that will begin doling out the <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/Moxi/">Moxi</a> HD DVR 3012, which includes the Moxi Menu user interface, multi-stream CableCARD support, remote web scheduling, external storage options and twin tuners. Sadly, the box won't ever be down with <a href="http://www.engadget.com/tag/tru2way/">tru2way</a>, but those not deterred can get one of their own later in Q4.<p>Filed under: <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/dvrs/" rel="tag">DVRs</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/set-top-boxes/" rel="tag">Set-top boxes</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/others/" rel="tag">Others</a>, <a href="http://www.engadget.com/category/cable/" rel="tag">Cable</a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/10/20/bendbroadband-deploys-digeos-moxi-hd-dvr-3012/">BendBroadband deploys Digeo's Moxi HD DVR 3012</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.engadget.com">Engadget</a> on Mon, 20 Oct 2008 03:13:00 EST.
